We offer on-going in-service training to every Keshet School. Our trainer works on site and meets regularly with every teacher, with teams and with administrators. Together they aim to achieve various goals: plan weekly, month, and annual programs, discuss challenges, check intersections between the Keshet unique curriculum and the regular State School curriculum in order to integrate and find interdisciplinary connections, and create new and innovative curricular units for specific subjects according to teachers’ needs.
Our trainers are experienced educators who taught at Keshet in different grades and participated in writing and implementing curricular units.
They bring rich pedagogical experience as well as expertise in subject matter. They specialize in dialogue-based education and help teachers define their own Jewish identity while finding ways to encourage students to do the same. They are available for the teachers beyond regular work hours for advice, support and communication.
